1. No Returns on Research Chemicals
Due to the nature of our products, all sales are final. We do not accept returns on any research chemicals sold through hemalchem.com.
This policy is in place for safety, legal compliance, and quality control reasons. Once a product leaves our facility, we cannot guarantee that it has been stored, handled, or transported correctly. Accepting returns would create serious safety risks.
For these reasons, we do not offer refunds or exchanges simply because you changed your mind or no longer need a product.
2. When You May Be Eligible for a Refund
We want you to be satisfied with your purchase. While all sales are final, we will consider refunds or replacements only in the following rare situations:
2.1 Shipping Errors
If you receive the wrong product (different from what you ordered), contact us immediately.
2.2 Damaged in Transit
If your product arrives damaged due to inadequate packaging or carrier mishandling, we will review your case.
2.3 Defective Product
If you have documented evidence that a product does not meet its stated chemical specifications, we will investigate.
Important: You must notify us of any of the above issues within 7 days of receiving your order. Issues reported after 7 days will not be considered for any refund or replacement.
3. How to Request a Refund
If you believe you qualify for a refund under Section 2 above, please follow these steps:
Step 1: Contact our customer service team at support@hemalchem.com
Step 2: Include the following information in your email:

Product name and quantity

Clear photos or video evidence showing the issue (damaged packaging, wrong product, etc.)

A detailed description of the problem
Step 3: Wait for a Return Material Authorization (RMA) number from our team. Do not ship anything back to us without an RMA number. Unauthorized returns will be refused and discarded.
Step 4: If an RMA is approved, we will provide you with return shipping instructions. You are responsible for return shipping costs unless the error was on our part.
4. Inspection and Final Decision
Once we receive your returned product (if applicable), our team will inspect it. We will notify you of our final decision within 14 business days of receiving the return.
If approved, we will issue one of the following:

A full refund to your original payment method

A replacement product (if available)

Store credit for future purchases
Refunds may take up to 45 days to process depending on your payment provider.
5. Non-Refundable Situations
We cannot offer refunds or replacements in the following cases:

You ordered the wrong product by mistake

You did not follow proper storage or handling procedures

The product was used, partially used, or opened (for safety reasons)

More than 7 days have passed since delivery

6. Order Cancellations
Once an order is placed, it enters our processing system immediately.

Before shipment: You may cancel your order at no cost. Contact us as soon as possible.

After shipment: Once shipped, the order cannot be canceled. You will need to follow the return process above, though returns are rarely approved.
7. Shipping Costs
Shipping fees are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the original shipping cost will be deducted from your refund unless the error was entirely our fault (wrong item shipped, etc.).
